SUO Challenge #171 | A Favorite April Theme

I love the April Showers, Spring Flowers theme of this challenge...Anything that inspires April.  What a great way to welcome in spring. I'm so excited to submit the simple project below for this fun spring challenge:

Stampin' Dimensionals # 104430

Ink up the bottom third of your H clear block with Smokey Slate Classic Ink, the centre third with Soft Sky Classic Ink and the top third with Island Indigo Classic Ink.  Using your Stampin Spritzer, spritz  water onto the entire block.  This will help the colors blend and will give you the spotted/dotted look when the paper absorbs the ink. Set aside to dry.

Next, stamp the Lady with Umbrella Image over the stamped background using StazOn Ink.  On a scrap of Whisper White card stock stamp the image again and fussy cut using paper snips. Using an Aqua Painter, apply Smokey Slate Classic Ink to the umbrella, Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink to the skirt and Perfect Plum Classic Ink to the blouse.  Once complete, adhere the cut out image to the card base over the stamped image using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add the Happy Birthday sentiment.
